The Challenge
In December, Premier Plant Haulage was appointed to deliver a full depot relocation for SANY UK Heavy Machinery, supporting the move from their Larkfield site to a new, larger facility in Sittingbourne.
The project involved relocating a substantial fleet of plant and infrastructure, including forklifts, excavators, buckets, quick hitches, a washing station, and additional ancillary equipment. Each item required different weight, size, and handling requirements, demanding precise planning and execution.
With SANY UK operating to a tight programme and a limited window to fully clear the outgoing site, the margin for disruption was minimal. The challenge was clear: complete a complex, high-volume relocation safely, efficiently, and within a demanding timeframe.
